Particle News: Just For You App Reviews

Since flipboard killed Zite, I needed to find a replacement. Particle is everything Zite should have been. I wish I would have found it sooner. Only downside is being required to create an account before using.

Great layout and categories, made simple and easy to access.Only wish it would be in landscape mode also.

As a frequent user of apps like News Republic, Flipboard, Zite, Feedly, I find Particle to be the best of them all. Clean UI, gives you just the right about of control over the content you prefer, and is surprisingly fast. I give it 4/5 stars because it doesnt feature a Notification Centre Widget that gives you a glimpse of the latest trends and whatnot. Itd be really nice to have that!

The app works fairly well besides a few loading issues with the local news. Other than that it works as expected. Cant complain.

For any type of up to date news whether it is local or national this is the app to use. Sports, crime, and politics can all be found in one useful app. An abundance of topics leaves users a swipe away from a fresh group of articles.

I found this app really useful. I have never really found a news app that gives the option to search for local news right next to all of the other big stories. Only slight complaint would be the design and layout but otherwise I highly recommend!

I love the feature for local news that uses location settings, this way when I go back home I can stay up to date there too without having to download another app or check the local news site.

I was highly surprised that this news outlet worked so well. ESPECIALLY on my local news. All the different types of news outlets were all in one place. I highly recommend. Would find this as a top news outlet app.

I really like the local news feature, its better than what Im used to from other sources. Good flow with relevant articles, intuitive nature.

This app was easy to use and loaded all my local news immediately. No waiting for Safari, it was all available right away. It also has the Most Shared section which will update you on whats in now.

This is a pretty user-friendly app. I like the local news feature and I like the fact that I can select my news based on my individual interests. Runs smooth. Easy navigation.
